This Warranty applies if any of the following Warranty Conditions occur:

A. Within 20 years from the date of application of the paint, Polyester exhibits cracking, flaking, or peeling (loss of adhesion) to an extent that is apparent on ordinary outdoor visual observation.

B. Within 10 years from the date of installation of the panels, Polyester:

1. Chalks in excess of ASTM D-4214 method A number three (3) rating on
   horizontally installed (roofing) panels and a number five (5) rating on
   vertically installed (sidewall) panels, when properly maintained as described herein, and
2. Changes color more than eight (8.0) Hunter delta-E units on horizontally installed (roofing) panels and six (6.0) Hunter delta-E units on vertically installed (sidewall) panels as determined by ASTM method D-2244. Color change shall be measured on an exposed painted surface that has been cleaned of surface soils and chalk, and the corresponding values measured on the original or unexposed painted surface. Color changes may not be uniform on surfaces that are not equally exposed to the sun and elements and Sherwin-Williams does not warrant that color changes will be uniform.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser/customer, against any defects related to original specifications (steel type, galvanizing thickness, etc.).The steel structures supplied by Northedge Steel buildings carry a rust perforation limited warranty of 5-year for 14 gauge steel and 20-years for 12 gauge steel. Perforation is a rust-through condition, such as an actual hole in a tubing. Cosmetic or surface corrosion, such as that caused by stone chips or scratches in the coating, is not covered under this warranty. Buildings installed in flood zones do not qualify for this warranty.

Northedge Steel guarantees all workmanship incorporated in above referenced project against defect due to faulty workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of Substantial Completion for the general guarantee as designated by the project manual.

This guarantee is binding where defects occur due to normal usage conditions and does not cover willful or malicious damage caused by acts of God or other Casualty.

Customers who purchase the recommended anchor package will qualify for a 20-year wind warranty against wind damage. Damage caused by wind hitting the building/frame directly, up to 120 mph, that causes a building to be removed from the foundation is covered in this warranty. Northedge Steel will repair the frame, sheet metal, trim, and doors damaged as a result of the building being moved from the foundation. Buildings secured to wood or decks with lag bolts carry no wind warranty.

All doors and frames are guaranteed to the original direct customer for a period of 1 year from date of installation, to be of good material, workmanship and to be free of defects that would render them unserviceable or unfit for the ordinary purposes for which each door and frame was manufactured.

If your building requires a permit, you must have that in hand before we arrive for installation. Normally, building delivery and installation are included in the cost of your purchase. However, if you’d like to purchase a metal building kit that you install yourself, we can do that as well. Once our team arrives to install, most buildings are finished in a day or two.

When your building is designed and ready to purchase, our customer service team will work with you to determine the required deposit amount. Once your order is processed, the remaining balance will be due upon delivery and installation.

A minimum 10% non-refundable deposit is required for all orders. Large “special order” truss buildings may require a larger deposit based on the need for custom parts.

We accept cash, check, money order or credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Discover). Customers opting to pay final balance with credit card will incur a 2.5% fee.
